Tryp by Wyndham Abu Dhabi

Booked a non-smoking room, but when we arrived there was only a smoking room available. No other options were available or provided despite our booking was clearly non-smoking. Our room was on the 13th floor. There is a rooftop bar on the 16th floor which had very loud music until 3am with thumping bass all night.

We upgraded to an executive room for a a relatively good price. The room was spacious with good view of the city towers, it has good furniture and layout. On the other hand, the bathroom was more than ordinary without a bath tub or a closed glass. When using the shower, the whole bathroom was flooding with water. The location close to downtown and nearby supermarket and corniche is very convenient.

Disappointing Experience at Tryp Wyndham Abu Dhabi Our recent stay at Tryp Wyndham Abu Dhabi left much to be desired, overshadowing its prime location near Corniche beach. The hotel's shortcomings, from the lack of dedicated parking to subpar guest service and room conditions, made for an overall disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the absence of a dedicated parking space was a surprising inconvenience. The valet service was not readily available, and the staff inside the hotel seemed indifferent, suggesting we could park anywhere and pay by the hour. This lack of organization and assistance was frustrating and gave an inauspicious start to our stay. The guest relations agent at the reception area further added to our dissatisfaction. Lacking hospitality, they failed to check if our reservation was paid and incessantly emphasized the nightly rates. Notably, there was a discrepancy in the information provided to us compared to other guests. The Russian guests received better service and were informed about breakfast timings and locations, while we, as Filipino guests, were left uninformed. Our decision to stay on Christmas day proved to be regrettable, as the atmosphere was marred by an unenthusiastic "Santa" and a general lack of holiday spirit. This further highlighted the hotel's failure to create a welcoming and festive ambiance. The condition of the rooms was a significant letdown. The unpleasant smell of aged fabrics, dusty rugs, and numerous stains indicated a lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance. It was disheartening to see that the rooms did not live up to the standards one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. A 40aed breakfast per head is not worth your money, they have minimal choices on food and drinks plus food is too cold. In summary, Tryp Wyndham Abu Dhabi fell short of expectations in various aspects. Amazing and pleasant stay with clean and newly furnished rooms. On spot service, prompt helpfulness from Dushani and Arslan. They help you out of their way with everything around city and your tours! Very highly recommended stay!

I stayed in sea view suite room, the room was neat and clean, but not worthy to money spend. 1 room was not reassuring on time, waited for 20 mins after 2.45 pm ideally 2 pm it should be ready. 2 charging for valet parking and no separate parking available. 3 breakfast was horrible, nothing served hot and not much options I don’t recommend this hotel for family.

Room was good, clean and comfortable The hotel itself is a 3 star at best, lots of noise from the nightclubs - there are 3 in the building - they need to seriously invest in soundproofing because the bass kept most of us up at night. Check-in was slow but efficient and valet parking is at the back of the building but is chargeable at 30 aed per night even if you are staying at hotel, which isn't great to be honest Breakfast was poor, I only ate their once because of the poor selection of items, no hot station and very limited options 3/10

My stay here for the F1 GP was decent, you can tell the hotel is date and needs some updates here and there but id does the job. The breakfast area is too small with maybe 10 tabels and the hotel has 16 floor of rooms if not mistaken and the pool is on the smaller side as well. Sadly the breakfast was not anything speacial, very bacis food but cold as well, save the money on the breakfast and go out somewhere for breakfast would be my recommendation. The rooms was clean, comfortable and the staff was great also.

Very nice place with such a kind staff. Particularly, Dushani at the reception accepted early check-in after our morning disembarkation from the cruise ship. Also Arslan helped with luggage handling, and was so kind in general. We liked this hotel especially for its staff.

Clean and good hotel. However, the service in restaurant (16 floor) was a little slower than expected. ( during breakfast) Finished items were not getting replaced soon.

The hotel is good but the facilities are extremely poor. The sitting area is not enough to accommodate people. I had a leg injury but still they made me stand for 20 minutes outside the buffet hall for breakfast. So, if you are travelling with older people think twice before coming here.
